Best practices
The Eco camp Patagonia, located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, is an accommodation certified by Sello S. Eco camp Patagonia became a Carbon Neutral Company in 2008. They take a lot of measures to make sure as little paper, tin and plastic as possible ends up in the wilderness. The organic waste goes to the pigs on their neighbouring farm and other waste to Punta Arenas for recycling. Their accommodations are shaped like domes, to conserve neutral energy and heat.
