The vision of the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve is to turn the Reserve into an icon of sustainable development worldwide, based on the synergy and balance of its three pillars: conservation of the Natural and Cultural Heritage, integration of the local community and development of a sustainable economic activity over time, mainly Tourism, generating a World Class Sustainable Tourism Destination.The Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve is a new concept of sustainable development that is based on three essential pillars: Conservation through research and emblematic projects such as the Huemul Conservation Center; Integration of the Community, since it actively incorporates local communities, generating a significant number of jobs in the place and training in different disciplines, including programs with local schools, which allow achieving a reconversion of the people who live there and finally Sustainable Tourism, as a new economic activity in the area that will allow a projection to present and future generations.
